2015 Expy Award - Best Small Company Internship

Vizion Solutions Named Best Small Company Internship at the 2015 Expys

Vizion Solutions won the Best Small Company Internship Award at the Expys, an annual celebration of Northeast Ohio internships presented by Northeast Ohio Council on Higher Education and CBC Magazine, on March 25. Beating out four other local companies for the coveted 2015 Best Small Company Internship Award, this is Vizion Solutions' second Expy Award, coming on the heels of winning the Best New Internship Expy Award in 2014.

Vizion Solutions is a Cleveland-based data management firm whose experts partner with clients to help them effectively manage their transactional information, with a focus on profit improvement solutions. Vizion Solutions, which "Connects Information to Decision Makers", launched its Connect! Internship program in 2013 to connect college students to opportunities. Such opportunities include building skills in a variety of areas including application development, business intelligence solutions, database management, networking infrastructure, time management, and technical documentation while working in a professional, "real world" work environment.

"We're very excited to again be recognized by NOCHE and CBC Magazine with the 2015 Best Small Company Internship Expy Award," said Joe Vocaire, CEO & President of Vizion Solutions. "We developed our Connect! Internship program as a great way for us to help and be helped by college interns, with the hopes of building a talent pipeline for future hires. The program has been a resounding success."

The 2014 Connect! Internship class totaled four interns, three from Miami University and one from the University of Cincinnati. These talented interns completed work projects in Business Intelligence and Application Development, worked on an Internal scheduling tool, completed various client projects, and volunteered at the Cleveland Foodbank, among other accomplishments.

A Message to Our Partners: Clients, Employees, Vendors, and Colleagues Vizion Solutions has been in business for 17 years. We are truly proud of the company that weve become and the amazing culture that weve created. Since 2002, we have worked hard to transform from 2 employees in a garage to a thriving, talented team of over forty that was just named the 2019 Tech Company of the Year by OHTec. Weve come a long way and its been one heck of ride. As an implementor of EOS, Vizion Solutions leadership began to reflect on who we really are as an organization, addressing tough questions about where we were and where we wanted to go as an organization. What did we want to be? How can we achieve our 3-year and 10-year goals? This culminated in many offsite retreats and strategy sessions where our leadership team committed to defining who we are, why we do what we do and what were the uncompromising core values by which we operate. To no surprise this process of self-discovery and exploration
